Activewear for the Active and Semi Active
On a scale from 1-10 about how active would you say you are? To me, that completely depends on how exactly you define the word “active.” A lot of times we think that in order to be considered being active we have to be clocking 60 minutes on the treadmill. I highly disagree and think that running errands in tennis shoes, playing with my kids at the park, and not sitting down all day are all considered “being active.” No matter how you classify your activity level we all like clothes with a good stretch and high comfort level. So today I am going to be sharing my very favorite activewear for the active and the semi active.
We all love a good legging. Especially a good legging that does not cost an arm and a leg. These leggings are amazing! They come in two colors, olive and black, are super stretchy, buttery soft, not see through, and high waisted! These are the perfect leggings, and you need these in your closet! Trust me when I say that you will wear them over and over again.
Comfortable sneakers are a must when it comes to being active. These sneakers are the perfect combination of comfort and style! These sneakers provide comfort and also feature a stylish elevated platform with adjustable laces to get the perfect fit. I love that the are bold but also extremely versatile.
If you are looking for a neutral and versatile sneaker that will go with everything in your closet, these sneakers are for you! They pair with all of my favorite activewear AND some of my favorite jeans, so as you can guess, they are always on constant repeat.
Hoodies are an absolute must once the colder weather hits! I love throwing on a cute, cozy hoodie and a comfortable pair of leggings. This hoodie is one of my most worn activewear pieces in my closet! I love wearing it to stay warm while working out or running my day to day errands.
Can we all just give a great big hallelujah for how wonderful a good pair of joggers are? What makes a good pair joggers even better? A matching sweatshirt to make the perfect set! Sets are the best because they are comfortable and equal parts fashionable. These bottoms are buttery soft, and have a good amount of stretch to them. Pair with the cute sweater and white sneakers for the most comfortable fall outfit.
This is another fabulous jogger/sweatshirt set that is beyond comfortable and comes in a wide variety of colors.
I love t-shirts that can be dressed up or dressed down. I love to throw a good t-shirt into my activewear lineup, because again, it is so versatile. This long sleeve sweater t-shirt is perfect for throwing on to run errands around town or to throw over your workout top on cold mornings. The neckline is extremely flattering and the material lays so beautifully. You will not regret adding this one straight to your cart!
Choose activewear right for your lifestyle
There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to deciding what kind of activewear is right for you. My biggest tip would be to find pieces that you love and that will be versatile across the board when it comes to your wardrobe. Invest in activewear that you feel good in and that will LAST. I would also suggest sticking to a neutral color pallet that will be easy to mix and match pieces throughout your week.
I hope that whether you are highly active or semi active this guide has helped you narrow down exactly what type of activewear will be the best fit for your lifestyle!
