Holiday Stay Home Style
Most of us are staying home for the holidays this year, and even though you may not be attending as many gatherings as you are used to, that doesn’t mean that you can’t dress up for the occasion! Holiday style is one of my favorite subjects, so today I have rounded up a few of my top picks to help you put together the perfect at-home holiday outfit. Whether you choose to dress up or dress down this holiday season, be sure to pick clothing pieces that you feel beautiful and comfortable in.
The first at-home style that I would highly suggest is to add a cardigan to one of your favorite graphic or ribbed tees. This is an easy way to dress up your outfit but still stay nice and cozy. Are you going to be joining any Zoom calls this holiday season? Throw a cardigan over your pajamas and you will look put together but get to stay in your PAJAMAS. See, even Zoom has a bright side. The neutral color of this cardigan will go with literally everything in your closet.
I love flowy dresses for MANY reasons, but first and foremost I love them because they leave room for extra ham and extra Christmas fudge. You feelin’ me? But really, a flowy dress is the perfect at-home style for 2020, because you get to be on trend and completely comfortable all at the same time. When picking a holiday flowy dress try to stick to deep, dark colors so you don’t look off season.
Jeans and T-Shirt
Never underestimate the power of good jeans and a t-shirt. The classic pair will lead you through this holiday season seamlessly. We are in love with the 2020 ribbed tee trend. If you are too then you will love this t-shirt. It pairs great with these high-waisted jeans.
How do you dress up stretchy pants? Invest in a stretchy skirt! Genius, I know. I die over these amazing, ribbed skirts and think that they would be the perfect at-home style option for the 2020 holiday season. I love that you can pair these stretchy skirts with this matching top, a chunky sweater, or a cute graphic tee. The possibilities are endless, and you will look fabulous no matter which option you choose!
I’m so happy about all of the amazing sweater options that are available right now. Again, Zooming this holiday season? Wear your cute sweater with a pair of sweatpants. Business on top, party on bottom. Nobody will have a clue! If you are going out, you can pair your sweater with a good pair of jeans like these or a cute skirt. Sweaters are so versatile and make the perfect piece of clothing to add to your at-home style this year! The subtle details and beautiful color of this sweater are my very favorite.
Last, but certainly not least, the ultimate at-home outfit for this 2020 holiday season is a perfect jogger set! I think that we can all agree that comfort has been the overarching theme of women’s fashion during this pandemic. I think that we can also all agree that no woman is mad about it. If you are staying in for the holidays, you can wear the jogger set as is. Or if you are planning to go out at all you can pair your jogger set with a cute blazer, cardigan or jean jacket and look like a million bucks! I promise that if you find the right jogger set for you, everybody will be asking you for your outfit details. This pink sweater set is SO soft. I basically never want to take it off.
One bonus of staying in this holiday season is that shoes are completely optional! But if you aren’t planning on leaving the house, I would suggest a pair of cozy slippers to wear around the house like these ones. They have a hard sole, are the cutest pattern, are so incredibly comfortable, and less than $30. Add to cart immediately. These slippers are a purchase that I can guarantee you will not regret.
