Caribbean Dress-Red Eyelet

I followed the sizing listed on the website and bought a medium (I usually wear a Large or anything between 37-39. Inches in the bust). But the website showed 40” for the bust for the size Medium.
The dress was too small in the chest for me and the Large was sold out by the time I was ready to return 😵‍💫 That sucked

I was pretty happy with the dress when it first arrived, it fit as expected and I liked it, but when I went to wash it I checked the care tag and saw that it said hand wash only. I was surprised that a $82 cotton dress couldn't even be washed cold on delicate cycle and hung to dry. That was an immediate red flag of low quality. I wondered if the hand wash care instructions had been in the dress description and I just didn't notice, but there are no care instructions in the description on the website. I knew I wasn't going to take the time to hand wash a maxi dress so I decided to take a chance and wash it by itself in cold water on delicate cycle and hang it to dry. It did fade some, but I still like the color. It did shrink some too which is disappointing as it is too short across the bust now. For this price I really was expecting good enough quality cotton that it could be gently machine washed and air dried as I have many similar cotton dresses that I clean this way without any issues. I think they should add the care info in the description as that may affect a person's decision to purchase the dress.

I absolutely love this dress!! Normally long dresses drown me because im 5’1 and it fits perfectly!
