Fourth of July is right around the corner and everybody in the Tarnasky household is getting so excited. It's kind of like Christmas at our place and we pick out our outfits at least a week in advance. Here in Rexburg, the parade is still on but nobody can throw out candy. I'm not much of a candy person, but I am going to miss Reed's Dairy coming around and handing out chocolate milk! We also love doing the typical family BBQ and fireworks, but who doesn't?! I'm getting so excited just talking about it right now. Okay now to the reason I'm even writing this blog, the 4th of July outfits! I love shopping for 4th of July outfits for the store and this year, I think I really outdid myself. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but *toot toot*, this year is too GOOD. So without further adieu, my 6 must-have Fourth of July outfits for summer 2020.
First up on the list is this skirt and tee combo. Skirts and dresses are some of my favorite summer pieces, and this skirt is no exception. The only thing that could make this better would be a blue bandana or blue scrunchie; then it would be the perfect patriotic ensemble. An alternative to a blue hair accessory is a pair of blue sneakers. If you wear this to the neighborhood fireworks, I guarantee that you'll get all the compliments.
This top with red Saltwater sandals is the 4th of July outfit of my dreams. Unfortunately, this top only comes in extended sizes for now but we're looking to restock it in all sizes. Seriously though, this outfit is so good because you can wear it with red shoes or hair accessories, or you can accessorize it like any other day. So if you're looking for a versatile 4th of July outfit, you've stumbled upon the best possible choice.
Lucky you! ( ;
This dress is the most perfect color and style ever. I'm completely in love with how versatile this dress is. You can put a shirt over it to make it look like a skirt, or you can throw a shirt on under it to show off all of the gorgeous details this dress has to offer. Heck, this could even be an adorable swimsuit cover-up! Top it all off with a straw hat and a blue scrunchie and we're in business.
This blouse is perfection. That's all I have to say about it. It's perfection. Blue jeans and some white sneakers would make this the most feminine and adorable 4th of July outfit EVER. The square neck and embroidery make this one of the most flattering tops we've ever had at Olive Ave. The fabric is light-weight and so flowy. Okay, okay I'm done obsessing over this top, but seriously if you live in Rexburg, you might see me rocking it around town next Saturday.
Now, this is a good 4th of July on the lake outfit. The embroidery is insanely dreamy and the fabric is perfect for summertime. Can you even stand the shape of this dress? It's so gorgeous. So if you're planning on spending this 4th on the lake, get this dress a.k.a the cutest cover-up of all time. You'll be handing out fruit snacks and serving looks all at the same time.
This dress. THIS DRESS. I cannot even handle this blue dress with white florals details. It is too good. Red Saltwaters or a red scrunchie can add a pop of America into your 'fit. I also love that you can dress this outfit up or down just by your accessories. Snag this dress for an easy 4th of July outfit.
No matter what you choose to wear this 4th of July, make sure to stay safe. We also want to thank all the men and women who have served or currently are serving our country. Be safe and Happy Independence Day!
