Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I love having a day set aside to just celebrate the things I love about my husband and our family we’ve created together. There are a lot of things that you can do to celebrate Valentine’s Day, even in this crazy year of lockdowns for COVID. I’m going to share 5 Valentine’s Day date looks that will help you feel beautiful and let you enjoy your date night with your honey!
Valentine’s Day Date Look #1- Movie Night In
The movie theaters aren’t playing many movies right now thanks to COVID, so why not create your own theater experience at home? Grab some movie snacks, stream a movie you haven’t seen yet, and settle in to enjoy a movie, just the two of you.
I love matching jogger sets for nights like these when I want to look cute, but still be ultra comfortable.
Valentine’s Day Date Look #2- Fancy Dinner for 2 at Home
When you have young kids, it can be hard to get out of the house for Valentine’s Day because you have to find a babysitter that’s available to watch your kids. This doesn’t mean that you have to give up on the idea of getting dressed up to enjoy a delicious dinner for two!
Order takeout from your favorite fancy restaurant or cook a delicious recipe together. Use the money you save from not hiring a babysitter to treat yourself to a new outfit! This look is dressy enough to help you feel romantic, but still comfortable enough for you to enjoy dessert.
Valentine’s Day Date Look #3- Winter Outing
Spending time with your spouse or partner doesn’t have to be done inside, even though it is winter. Have you ever gone on a winter twilight walk together? Or maybe taken the day to go skiing together? If there’s no snow where you live, what about going to the zoo or on a hike? There are so many things you can do outside, no matter the weather. Don’t let the season hold you back from enjoying nature.

Valentines Day Date Look #4- Double Date Fun
Have you ever gone on a double date for Valentine’s day? Getting together with another couple (or 2 or 3, even) can be a great way to reignite the spark between you and your partner while enjoying some time away from the daily responsibilities you carry at home. Valentines’ Day Date Look #5- Gaming Marathon at Home
Do you love playing games with your partner or spouse? Playing board games, video games, or card games can be a really fun date night! There are so many amazing games out there right now. Grab a few favorites, make a charcuterie board to snack on, and settle in for a few hours of good competition. Make the loser do the dishes or give the winner a massage for added fun! This look is perfect for a gaming marathon.
